Whereas runx1 is expressed in the dorsal aorta, olfactory placode, otic vesicle and Rohon-Beard sensory neurons at 23hpf and 24hpf in control GFP- embryos (black letters), it is specifically lost from the dorsal aorta in GFP+ embryos (green embryos), whilst retaining its neural expression.
