Cadherin-2 regulates coherence of cerebellar GC migration.

(A–J) Maximum intensity projections of individual time-lapse stacks show GC migration in the right cerebellar lobe of gata1:GFP WT and gata1:GFP/pac-/-R-embryos. Cell tracings reveal that GCs in WT cerebella (A–E) migrate collectively toward the MHB, whereas individually migrating pac-/-R GCs (F–J) follow deviant paths (compare also Video S4 and Video S5). Plotting the migratory tracks from start to end point (K–N) shows a highly coherent and directional migration of WT GCs (K, L) in contrast to pac-/-R GCs (M, N) (e.g., compare dark blue and red tracks in L and N). cb, cerebellum; MHB, midbrain-hindbrain boundary; URL, upper rhombic lip.
