prkCI/ζ knockdown does not disrupt proximodistal segmentation, but does lead to defects in PCT morphogenesis. WISH was used to assess epithelial specification and segment pattern using antisense riboprobes (purple) in wild-types (left column) and prkCI/ζ morphants (right column).
