In mutants, localization of Cdh1 (b, d, f, and h; compare to wt a, c, e, g) and Lgl2 (b′, d′, f′, and h′; compare to wt a′, c′, e′, g′) is compromised in both peridermal cells (a-d) and basal cells (e-h). Images show regions of the trunk epidermis not yet affected by aggregate formation. (i- l).
