Anti-angiogenic effects of HK-Dox/MPEG-PCL.

Normal embryos (A), embryos treated with empty MPEG-PCL (B), embryos treated with HK/MPEG-PCL micelles (C), embryos treated with Dox/MPEG-PCL micelles (D), and embryos treated with HK-Dox/MPEG-PCL micelles (E). Embryos treated with HK-Dox/MPEG-PCL micelles showed defective vascular formation of variable severity, with intersegmental vessels either sprouting abnormally or failing to form in comparison with control embryos.

Antitumor effects of Dox-HK/MPEG-PCL in zebrafish tumor models.

Zebrafish were injected with 300 tumor cells into the perivitelline space using a Cell Tram Vario injector with a glass micropipette. At 24 h post-implantation, Tumors from zebrafish treated with NS, empty micelles (EM), HK-M, Dox-M, or Dox-HK-M micelles are shown. The Dox-HK/MPEG-PCL micelles inhibited tumor growth in zebrafish more effectively than other groups.
