Unique first exons of tjp1b/ZO1b-Alpha (black), -Beta (magenta), and -Gamma (blue) are denoted by triangles on the tjp1b-ZO1b locus (grey bar) with relative exon structure denoted (dark grey rectangles). Curved arrows indicate unique transcription initiation sites.
