Reduction of Nodal inhibits invasion of Y79 cells in zebrafish.  a Representative images of the localization of Y79-GFP cells (highlighted in green) expressing Nodal shRNA (sequence A) or scrambled shRNA at 1 and 4 dpi after intravitreal injection in zebrafish.  b We observed 34% reduction in the fold-change of the minimum bounding sphere (MBS, highlighted in red, 50 μm grid for scale) diameter (μm) between day 1 and day 4 post-injection images when zebrafish larvae ( n = 24) were injected intravitreally with Y79-GFP cells expressing Nodal shRNA, compared to scrambled shRNA ( n = 23). Effect size: -0.44; 95% CI: − 0.67, − 0.22;  p = 2.96 × 10− 4; 50 μm grid for scale
