A smaller vp (top: vp=0.16) represents a lower strain rate at the posterior part than the anterior part of the PSM. A larger vp (bottom: vp=3) represents a larger strain rate in the posterior part of the PSM. (B) Kymographs of vorticity for (left) vp=0.16 and (right) vp=3. Vorticity across the right PSM is shown.
