MAMPs signal through a TLR/MyD88 signaling pathway. Zebrafish eggs were microinjected at the one-cell stage with STD or MyD88 morpholinos, 4 ng per egg, and then were divided into two batches. One batch was raised as CONR, and the other was derived as GF. IL-1² (A), LYZ (B), and DEFBL1 (C) transcript levels, assayed by qPCR, of 72-hpf MyD88 morphant zebrafish and their STD morphant siblings raised CONR or GF. Error bars indicate the SD of two independent experiments, each using 30 pooled larvae per treatment. n.s., nonsignificant. |
