Catalysis of the reaction: taurochenodeoxycholate + O2 + reduced [NADPH--hemoprotein reductase] + = taurohyocholate H+ + H2O + oxidized [NADPH--hemoprotein reductase]. Acts on taurochenodeoxycholate, taurodeoxycholate and less readily on lithocholate and chenodeoxycholate. 1.14.14.57
