Definition
A member of the class of isoindoles that is 2,3-dihydro-1H-isoindol-1-one substituted by 2,6-dioxopiperidin-3-yl and [(2R)-1-ethylpiperidin-2-yl]methoxy groups at positions 2 and 5, respectively. It is a molecular glue degrader of the WIZ transcription factor that induces fetal hemoglobin in eythroblasts, and a potential therapeutic agent for the treatment of Sickle cell disease.
