Definition

A pentahydroxyflavanone that is 2,3,3',4'-tetrahydro-2'H,4H-[2,6'-bichromen]-4-one substituted by hydroxy groups at positions 3', 4', 5, 7, and 8' and by two methyl groups at position 2'. It is isolated from the stam bark of Erythrina sigmoidea.
