Definition
An epoxide fluorescent probe for use in in vivo visualization of hydrogen sulfide. The probe employs a fluorescein as a fluorophore, and is equipped with an operating epoxide unit. FEPO functions via epoxide ring opening via nucleophilic attack by H2S.
