BIOGRAPHY AND RESEARCH INTERESTS
My lab is interested in mechanisms of growth control and morpohogenesis. We use the development of the adult melanocyte stripes and growth and regeneration of the adult fins to study growth control in the intact animal. In addition, we develop and share mapping methods and tools that facilitate cloning of genes, including the standard haploid mapping panel, multiply marked chromosomes, and inbred mapping strains (including SJD and C32).
