BIOGRAPHY AND RESEARCH INTERESTS
Understanding molecular and cellular mechanisms of hormone-secreting tumors using cellular, murine and zebrafish experimental models; and developing therapies for patients with non-functioning pituitary tumors, Cushing’s disease, prolactinomas and acromegaly that are resistant to current treatments. Our study will enable further insights into the role of cell cycle control and growth constraint of experimental and human pituitary tumors, underlying their failure to progress to malignancy.
