BIOGRAPHY AND RESEARCH INTERESTS
I have just submitted my PhD thesis for examination and my area of research during my PhD was the study of the cell cycle regulation of bud-site assembly in the budding yeast, Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
My research interests include the role of the cell cycle in differentiation and morphogenesis and other aspects of embryonic development. I have recently moved to this zebrafish laboratory and will be looking at the connection between cell cycle and somitogenesis in the zebrafish.
