BIOGRAPHY AND RESEARCH INTERESTS
I work on the Galaxy Project, where I teach workshops, write documentation, and do community outreach. I telecommute from Eugene, OR where I have a guest appointment at the Univeristy of Oregon.

Previously I worked on the GMOD project for NESCent, the National Evolutionary Synthesis Center, EuReGene, the European Renal Genome project as part of EMAP, the Edinburgh Mouse Atlas Project.

I was at ZFIN from 2000 to 2005. At both ZFIN and EMAP I worked on database, server and software infrastructure issues.
