STATEMENT OF RESEARCH INTERESTS
Our laboratory is using genetics to dissect vertebrate mechanisms of mutation and cell differentiation, using the zebrafish as a model system. We used parthenogenetic screens to generate genomic instabilty mutants using a mosaic eye screen and cell differentiation mutants using histological arrays (manuscripts in preparation). We hypothesize that some of our mutants will be tumor suppressor genes.
