Figure 9 Perturbation of genes encoding proteins involved in ER-associated protein degradation showing an increase in expression of chaperones involved in detecting misfolded proteins (NEF, BiP, Hsp40), as well as those involved in the ER-associated degradation pathway (Derlin, UBx). This also shows an increase in anti-apoptotic genes (BCL2) and a decrease in pro-apoptotic genes (Casp12). RED: upregulated, BLUE: downregulated.
