The T2M sequences contain the essential terminal inverted repeats and subterminal sequences from the medaka fish (Oryzias latipes) Tol2 element. The minimum Tol2 element sequence required for transposition of constructs is 200 bp and 150 bp of DNA from the left and right ends, respectively.
