STATEMENT OF RESEARCH INTERESTS
Our laboratory is dedicated to identify molecular mechanisms controlling the generation of pancreatic cells in normal and disease state, using the zebrafish as animal model. To achieve this goal, we use a combination of transcriptomics (RNA sequencing or "RNAseq"), mutagenesis, and transgenesis and we create zebrafish models mimicking pancreatic diseases.
