Name: dorso-rostral cluster
Synonyms: dorsal rostral cluster, dorsorostral cluster, drc
Definition: Early-forming telencephalic neural cluster. Neurons of the dorso-rostral cluster (drc) extend axons to form the supra-optic tract (SOT) and the anterior commissure (AC).

Name: primary neuron

Definition: Primary neurons are neurons develop shortly after gastrulation during early segmentation stages, between 10-12 hpf, before the neural tube is formed. Each neuron occurs in a stereotyped location along the neuraxis. Axons from these cells grow via a growth cone pioneering a stereotyped pathway. These axons form the pattern of the early nervous system.
