Notch activity regulates v2aIN versus v2bIN identity in zebrafish.
Wild-type (A,D,G), mindbomb mutant (B,E,H), or Tg(hsp70:gal4;uas:NICD) (C,F,I) zebrafish embryos were analyzed by whole-mount in situ hybridization at 26 hours post-fertilization with probes marking v2a (scl and gata3) or v2b (vsx1/chox10) IN fate. Black arrowheads show v2IN, red arrowheads denote blood. Anterior, left, 10X magnification and 40X magnification of the boxed region as displayed in (A).
