STATEMENT OF RESEARCH INTERESTS
Current research is focused on the biological mechanisms of aging using the shortest-lived vertebrate, the annual fish Nothobranchius furzeri that we developed as model organism for aging research and also zebrafish.

We integrate in a data-driven approach the genomic, molecular, cellular and organism levels of analysis to identify the physiological mechanisms controlling brain aging and lifespan
